Turner Town Hall

Up until 1930 most town business was conducted in the elected officials' homes. In 1930 repairs were made on an unused car barn, and in 1931 a statement was made, by the Selectmen, that a town office had been established in the car barn. In 1949, the town office moved into the second story of the "Fire Station". In 1968, the Fire Department relocated, leaving the first floor available for the town office. In 1974, the town office was moved to the first floor of the "Fire House" and in 1988 a 28x40 foot addition was buillt to accommodate informational meetings, election booths, and space for large committee meetings . In 2008 a new office and meeting room was constructed on the same site at 11 Turner Center Road.
