Turner's Board of Selectmen recognizes that all residents are doing their best to adjust to the COVID-19 virus outbreak. In consideration of the health and safety of our residents and staff, please note the following changes now in effect.
Town Office - The Town Office is open but there is a four person occupancy limit in the lobby area - two persons at the counter, and two waiting. All regular services are available. Facemasks are required to enter the building.
May 20 Municipal Election - The May 20 Municipal Election will be held as scheduled, with the polls open from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Town Office. Masks must be worn, and there will be limits on the number of people that may be in the building at all times. If a line forms, social distancing must be observed. Individuals already on line when the polls close will be allowed to vote. Nobody else may get on line after 7:00 p.m.
May 22 Town Meeting - Turner's Town Meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 22, at the Leavitt Area High School Cafeteria. Masks must be worn and social distancing must be observed.

Code Enforcement/Building Permits - Many of these can be issued without a trip to the Town Office - click here. Please visit the Code Enforcement page (under Departments, above) for permit applications.
Fire/Rescue Building - This building is open for staff only. No public admission.
Transfer Station - The Transfer Station is open but residents are prohibited from entering any building.
Planning Board Meeting/Public Hearings - The Planning Board is holding its regular monthly workshop (first Wednesday) and Regular Meeting (third Wednesday). Both begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Town Office. Masks must be worn.
Food Pantry - The Food Pantry is open on the last Wednesday of each month. Hours are 1:00 p.m. through 3:00 p.m. for senior citizens, and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for the general public.
Board of Selectmen - Meetings of the Board of Selectmen are continuing on the first and third Mondays of each month, but may be moved outside if more than 10 people total are in attendance. The town does not have the technical capacity to provide electronic, interactive access.
