Highway Department - Driver/Equipment Operator/Laborer
The Town of Turner Highway Department is looking for a full-time Driver/Equipment Operator to become a part of our regular crew. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic team player, possess a current Maine Commercial Driver’s License (Class A preferred), and have experience operating equipment normally used in road construction and maintenance, including snow plowing. General manual labor also is required. Applicants should be familiar with the general repair and maintenance of trucks and other department equipment, and possess a working knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade. Office Cleaning/Custodial Services
The Town of Turner is looking for someone to take on weekly cleaning/custodial duties at both the Town Office and Leavitt Institute. Work in both buildings is generally done on the weekend, but evenings can be accommodated if planned in advance.
