Summer Employment - Beach Attendants
The Town of Turner is seeking two to three individuals to serve as monitors at the town’s beach during this year’s summer season. Beach monitors will each work 10 to 20 hours per week, are responsible for ensuring that users have the required pass to use the beach, and for enforcing the town’s rules for the site. Monitors do not serve as lifeguards. Monitors will work a varying schedule, based on availability, which includes both weekdays and weekends, from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Successful candidates will project a friendly and helpful attitude, and the ability to firmly communicate and enforce the town’s rules. Preference will be given to Turner residents. Applications are available at the Turner Town Office, 11 Turner Center Road, or by clicking the link above, and should be returned to the Town Office by Monday, May 4. The Town of Turner is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Note: This year's beach schedule will depend on the status of the COVID-19 outbreak and any rules that may be in effect because of it.
