HelpWanted – Transfer Station Attendant

The Town of Turner is now accepting applications for an Attendant at the town’s Transfer Station.  This is a part time position that offers limited benefits, including paid vacation and sick time.  Workers at the Transfer Station work 25.5 hours per week, and the facility is open on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.  Responsibilities include assisting residents with the proper disposal of household waste, and the ability to operate a backhoe/loader is helpful.  Dealing pleasantly and effectively with the public is a must.  Turner’s Transfer Station is a busy place so our employees spend much of the time outdoors and on their feet.  Applications are due by Thursday, February 12.
