Request for Proposals – Solid Waste Disposal, Bulky Waste Disposal, Mixed Recycling

The Town of Turner is now accepting proposals from qualified companies for disposal of Turner’s Municipal Solid Waste (MSW),  Bulky Waste and mixed recycling.

All proposals shall be submitted in sealed envelopes marked “Waste Disposal & Recycling Services” to the Town of Turner, 11 Turner Center Road, Turner, ME 04282, by Noon Thursday, February 12, 2026.  Proposals will be awarded  at the Tuesday, February 17 Board of Selectmen meeting to be held at 6:00pm.  Any  proposal received after the deadline will not be considered.  Questions regarding this request for proposals should be directed to the Town Manager. The contract will run from  April 1, 2026 through December 31, 2028.
