Help Wanted – Beach Monitor

The Town of Turner is seeking a monitor to work at the town’s beach during this year’s summer season.  Beach monitors will each work approximately 20 hours per week, are responsible for ensuring that users have the required pass to use the beach, and for enforcing the town’s rules for the site.  Monitors do not serve as lifeguards.  Monitors work a varying schedule, based on availability, which includes both weekdays and weekends, from Memorial Day through Labor Day.  Successful candidates will project a friendly and helpful attitude, and the ability to firmly communicate and enforce the town’s rules.  Preference will be given to Turner residents.  Please complete and return an employment application no later than May 14.  The Town of Turner is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
