Adult-Use Marijuana Retail Store License Available

The Town of Turner has one Adult-Use Marijuana Retail Store License available.  As required by the town’s Adult Use and Medical Marijuana Stores, Cultivation Facilities, Manufacturing Facilities, and Testing Facilities Ordinance, the application period for this license will open on Tuesday, September 8, and will close at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 21.  Interested parties are encouraged to read the town ordinance, which is posted on the Code Enforcement page of the town’s website.  Parties interested in applying for the license shall submit a Marijuana Business License application (also on the website), along with the required fee, to the Turner Town Office, 11, Turner Center Road, no later than the application period close at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 21.  If more than one application is received, there will be a random drawing to determine the order that applications will be reviewed for approval.  Applicants not selected will have their fee returned.  Please note that the location of any Marijuana Retail Store must comply with town Zoning requirements and may be subject to town Planning board review and approval.
